Master's student Bert Spindler wins the Design Prize 2012 of the Ikea Foundation

Bert Spindler, master's student at the Institute for Transportation Design, was awarded with the IKEA Design Price 2012 for his semester project "Bio-fibre bird house"

The IKEA Foundation advertises an annual design competition since 2005. Design students are invited to take part. The price is a fully funded semester at the renowned University of Lund. The associated School of Industrial Design is one of the most prominent colleges for aspiring designers in Europe. Furthermore applicants have the chance to win a one-week long workshop with established IKEA designers and international visiting lecturers.
This year's slogan for the award was "Place for Ideas".
